⚡ Carlingford Public School Multicultural Fair: Wrap-Up & Highlights

| Events, Latest News

What a Wonderful Day at the Carlingford Public School Multicultural Fair!

On Saturday, 25 October 2025, more than 3,000 people came together for the Carlingford Public School Multicultural Fair, a colourful celebration of culture, community, and connection.

😊 Dental stall

Carlingford Dental Surgery was proud to support the event and host the mini EV • Solar • Battery showcase with hands-on demos and friendly chats. It was especially wonderful seeing so many of our patients drop by, their support and friendly smiles truly made our day! 💚

Many visitors completed our online community survey to share their thoughts and understanding on dental health, clean technology, electric vehicles, and sustainable living. Those who left their contact details received school raffle tickets, proudly purchased by us to support fundraising for the school community.

The most popular responses in this survey will be here.

Several people also requested call-backs for more information about dental care, solar energy, home batteries, and EVs – showing just how much interest there is in living healthier and more sustainably!

⚡ Electric Vehicle Display

The EV display line-up was curated by Dr Steven Du, with help from his friend Alan from the Australian Electric Vehicle Association (AEVA). Together, they brought in an impressive line-up of vehicles from BYD, Cupra, Geely, MG, Mini, Polestar, Tesla, Xpeng, and Zeekr, showcasing the exciting possibilities of clean and sustainable transport.

Steven & Alan (both AEVA members)

Members of the Tesla Owners Club of Australia also joined in to answer questions and sharing their real-world ownership experiences.

☀️ Solar and Smart Energy

Lorenzo and his team from the Good Earth Group came to show visitors how rooftop solar + home batteries + EV charging = savings for you (hence the “Kill Bill” t-shirts) and the planet!

A big shout-out to Ken, President of Climate Action Burwood Canada Bay, who brought along his stunning red MG MG4, to to power our iMac and TV via Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), and shared his expert advice on the many benefits of going electric.

👌Free sausages & dumplings

Michelle from Carlingford Dental Surgery and Louie from the Asian Australians for Climate Solutions (AAFCS) had engaging conversations with visitors while cooking free and delicious vegetarian sausages and dumplings – all powered by the Xpeng G6’s V2L capability!

Because this EV was charged from renewable energy, these were truly “solar sausages and decarbonised dumplings”.

🙏 A Huge Thank-You!

We were delighted to have the school’s principal visit our stall and share how impressed he was with our displays and the delicious food.

We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Carlingford Public School team and P&C Association for inviting us to be part of this wonderful day — and for their outstanding effort in organising such a vibrant, family-friendly, and well-run fair.

What an amazing team effort! 👏

Here are some photos and videos capturing the highlights, the smiles, the cars, the food, and the great conversations about a cleaner, smarter future for all:
